Played today after a two week break due to course being closed at the weekends due to rain and frost. Anyway, after this break I was itching to play and felt like I was going to burn up the course. After a few swings on the first tee, didn't warm up as I arrived late, but anyway I nailed one straight down the middle, and procceded to make par and the same on the second. However, after this it all went to pot. I couldn't strike the ball with my irons, the driver was producing a snap hook and I was missing putts left, right and centre. Chipping was good though :D. I tried to think of how I hit the ball of the first but to no avail. I ended up with 32 pts with about 12 still on the greens, what made it even worse was I have been playing really well recently.

Do you ever get those rounds, in which you feel so ready to score the round of your life and then end up drowning your sorrows into the berverage of your choice? On the plus side though, the guys thought up of a really good bet, although a bit complicated. You take the total waist lenght of all the players per group, you then take the total team score of this number and multiply the answer by how many blobs your group has. Now to put this into perspective of how poorly I played today, well it was a team effort, our score was 750, (this was from a fourball, with a waist total of around 160 inches). This is a good bet for banter and the such as the worst team wins some money. :D

I posted the details elsewhere but played yesterday and was burning it up (+2 for the front 9). Went to pot on the bac 9 thanks to a womens 4 ball match not letting me through despite there not being a single other player on the whole 9. Shot +10 for the back to finish +12 but reckon there was a 75 or 76 for the taking. It was a laoss of timing that killed me and a growing sense of frustration that led to wasted shots.
