Came sooo close to an Albatross today. A good drive left me 216 to the middle, downwind. Out came the hybrid and off went the ball. All the way from the face I knew it was a goody. Pitched just short of the green and ran up towards the pin. Can't be sure if it lipped out or hit the pin but the ball suddenly moved 90 degrees right and finished 6 or 7 feet away. Lipped out the Eagle putt so had to settle for a birdie on a shot hole. Oooh but so close...

Great work mate I wish it had've dropped.

I've now had 3 occasions where my tee shot has rolled to the hole on par 3's and just hit the cup and ended up a few feet away.

488 yard par 5. Raised tee and straight with clag left and right and a bloody great tree on the right at 250 from the tee.

Know it well, and have been stuck behind that tree more times than not - nice hole though.

Downhill and downwind too. Made a nice change to drive well - hit 8 from 12 today but believe me it's not normal but with a bit luck I can keep my wallet in my pocket.

Well done Imurg ive been close many years ago mind.But I did hole my second on a par four on Sunday 365yds three wood and a six iron straight in the hole in our winter league match.
