are you getting any ,its about half an inch at the moment but its coming down quite hard.
hopefully the forecast will be correct and it will be gone by morning ,trouble is it is due to freeze over night.
could make driving eventful for some.

We have the lightest of coverings in East Herts. Not an issue on the roads, but will render all greens u/s until it thaws. Not that the prospect of playing in cold windy conditions appeals to a southern softy in any case.

Those UK snow watch twitter accounts finally have something to talk about.

There are hundreds of variations of the theme "UK Snow Watch Alerts" for about 3 days a year for the majority of us in the UK

Came down heavily for about a while between Reading and Bracknell and started to settle on the grass but stopped very quickly and hasn't hung about. I have a feeling the ice may be a bigger issue in the morning

its not snowing now nd as Homer has stated it is aready starting to thaw.
its the ice that could well be about tomorrow morning that will cause problems, idiot drivers thinking the roads are clear because the snow went so quickly.

Bit of a mare getting back from Glasgow today this afternoon, M74 closed so I detoured through Lanark and back onto the M74 a bit further down. Was clear once I got half way to Carlisle and nowt in Gateshead.

Had a bit of a flurry earlier on and it was heavy at one stage , traffic was taking it slow and easy - will be icy tomorrow though

Had a drive to and from Oldham today. Had a little drive over saddle worth moor. There was a couple of inch. But flippin Eck it was cold. Coming back I drove from Oldham to holmfirth and it was a gorgeous run. With some stunning views.

We had heavy rain morphing into very heavy wet snow which settled briefly.

Didn't last more than an hour before giving up the ghost and starting to melt.

Looking like icy slush in the morning.
