Snooper s400 users

I purchased a snooper s400 from a fellow member here and used it for the first time today but all I could get was ready off the trees behind the flag and would not pick up on the flag unless it was under 80 yds.

Do people that have the snooper s400 have this problem or is there something I'm doing wrong ?

I have a snooper and never had any issues with it from any distance esp over 80 yards. You do have to be accurate with it and steady handed but it will pick up the flag. I've used it in bright sunlight, heavy rain and fog without any problems.

ive got one, press and hold the button til it goes into golf mode, keep the button pressed and scan from the trees to the flag - this mode gives the distance to the nearest thing, so you should see a step reduction in distance as it picks up the flag

i have a s500 and had similar problems on my first outing, it was set in the wrong mode to lock on the pin, same as SB1 posted.
