I used to play snooker regularly but not in the last few years.

At one time it was my main 'sport'.
I enjoy the fact that you can now watch virtually every tournament now on Eurosport although I only tend to dip in and out depending on who is playing.

Used to play pool an awful lot at the local snooker hall. Thought I was good at that. Own queue, played for a team.
Tried snooker and it was very trying indeed although going back to a pool table after snooker did some wonders!
Don’t mind watching it on TV but as far as playing it. I suck.

Might suggest it to two brothers-in-law on Christmas Day.

Seems to be a cloud gathering over the game at the moment , with a number of Chinese players being suspended pending investigation for match fixing. These include the reigning UK champ Zhao Xingtong.

Ah, but what about the Hurricane?
O'Sullivan is a huge talent, his ability to play right and left handed is amazing. I've never been a "fan" due to his personality.
