  • Packet cigarettes
  • Roll Ups
  • Cigar
  • Pipe

ok I'll include electric smokers too

Is the course one of the few places you indulge, do you smoke anything different when playing i,e ditch the roll ups for a pack of cigs, maybe have the odd cigar?

Normal standard cigarettes for me most of the time when playing golf but my pleasure is to indulge in a cigar every few weeks, typically a Romeo Y Julieta No 2 or 3 (prefer the slightly smaller No3 if I can get it)

Get it going at the turn when the suns out and you're in good company & it adds some extra pleasure to the next few holes

Love the smell & flavours of pipe tobacco so will hopefully get into that one day

What's yours?

Why not just set fire to the money instead. More healthy and just as effective a way of getting rid of money.:)

OK, I'm a smoker and have been for a few years now… a good few years to be honest. Best time for a ciggy is when you are waiting on the tee box for the plonkers in front of you…. and that seems to happen a lot to our group. FWIW I'm the only smoker out of a group of 8-10 that play on a saturday and it doesn't bother any of them, each man to his own thing I suppose.

I don't do dope or drink much, I just have a smoke when I feel like a one so am not a chain smoker, 20 can last me sometimes two days.

Quit smoking about 8 years ago but prior to that would light up a fag every other hole more or less.
I was an Embassy Number 1 man at the time of quitting.

Had to ensure the bag had a full packet before a round, plus 2 lighters (just in case).

Played with a group (abroad) for a fortnight who had at least 4 specially rolled *wink* fags per round and a regular visit from the beer girl. Their golf got better as the round progressed- great lads and great company.

American friend has 2 large cigars per round- love the smell

2nd hand smoke for me only these days as been reformed over 5 years, preference is for playing with one of our owners who always has a nice big cigar on the go, love that smell

Yeah I always keep spare packet and lighter in the golf bag for when rain soaks the first pack or you meet the PP's who have stopped but wouldn't mind one or two of mine going round

Used to be Marlboro Lights for me. The cigarette I miss most is that one I used to have early on a sunny saturday morning stood on the patio at the club with a mug of coffee watching people tee off. If I could have one cigarette back a week it would be that one.

Now it is vaping for me and I vary the flavour quite a lot. Currently using a minty one called Heisenburg from a company called vampire vapes once that I has run out I have a nice bottle of Aniseed flavoured Scorpions Blood to worth through.

Has been Marlboro Gold for me but am in the process of tapering off smokes and more of the vaping.

Need to get a better e-cig really though one I have isn't great.

Smoked until two years ago, B+H originally then Marlborough Lights. Also used to have a tradition of a big cigar when playing on holiday in Florida, started when I got paired up with a couple of US Marine vets in their 70's, both played off single figures, had loads of great stories. An absolutely fantastic golfing experience which I will never forget.

Now I vape, variety of flavours but mainly fruit based. Currently got a rather nice bottle of cherry coke flavour on the go.

Out of curiosity, do smokers ever work out how much they've have spent on cigarettes?

Seen plenty of people on here say they won't spend more than xx amount on a round of golf yet they burn hundreds/thousands of pounds a year.
