Just played 9 holes at my home club against someone I don't know and I got my self a new personal best by 2 shots I went around In 38 shots which is 4 over ( par is 34).
My iron shots were not that good I lacked my usual power but my short game and putting were [****] hot. A few months ago I thought is was impossible but I proved myself wrong. My smile is so big I think I need it surgically Removed..lol
I also never got my driver out the bag and just stuck to my 5 wood.

Great stuff - I heve hid the driver for my last few rounds and my scores are certainly improving - in the end its not how far its how many.

Nice one. It's these little steps forward that keep the momentum going and give you the motivation to keep at it.

Broke my PB last week. Shot 9 over for 18 holes. Previous PB was 13 over.

Well done. The secret is to convert that into an 18 hole score, and then take it to different courses, win things etc. Great foundation and shows the benefit of a good short game and that driver isn't always best. Great shooting and keep smiling!
