I've been struggling of late with my hybrids (3 and 4 Nike Covert tour with regular shafts) - I kept drawing the ball (at best) or hooking it (more likely) even with the face set to open.
Due to my recent irons revelation whereby a switch to stiff shafts has paid dividends I wondered if the same would be applicable to my hybrids. I get on really well with my SLDR driver so thought I'd have a look for a hybrid.
After a couple of days looking around I stumbled across a SLDR 2 hybrid with an "upgraded" Project X 6.0 stiff shaft - £60 later and it was mine.
Went to the range yesterday and hit probably 30 balls with it.....what a club. Looks great at address, great off the tee, great off the deck and its crazy long.....pretty much every shot clearing the 200 yard mound by some height, I just wish I could see where the roll out was taking it. I cannot wait to get on the course with it.
