SL 300 or S 300

Looking at getting some AP2's 714 second hand and wondering which shaft, any thoughts. Curently hit Razr Tours 7 iron 155 with S 300 shafts.

Got some ap2 710 I may be selling .... Would you be interested ? Right hand , not sure on shaft will have to check .

It's only a big "may " though . Always struggled to hit them , gone back to titleist dci irons and having lessons to improve my ball striking, been meaning to give the ap2 another go before I sell them on ...

just as a generalisation, as don't know what your swing motion is, how the flight is with s300's you use.
as ever you really gotta try the shafts out under a fit with a launch monitor to get the real answer.

sl's as guess you know are lighter, 21 grams difference. but they made with variable shaft thickness - to lose weight - & with a step pattern with longer final step to be tip stiff for a low traj.

so all depends on both what the average iron swing speed is but real important what tempo, transition move is like.

you ever had the miz dna done & know what the numbers are if you had that would be a good guide.

Do you prefer a heavy shaft or not is the question. Personally I feel in more control with a heavy shaft so would never get the SL model.
