Cheapest price in can find is £1,569.00 but I've heard that others in the UK have purchased for closer to £1k... I've had no luck on Ebay or Amazon.... Anyone got any ideas?

I'd be surprised. the unit is $2k in the states so even if you purchased from there its about £1350.
