its not a permanent fix but i've used a black sharpie pen with kiwi instant shoe shine stuff to give it back a gloss look. Need to re-apply from time to time.
I bought a second hand G15 4 wood off Ebay with a few marks and the black sharpie did the trick. you can now only notice it if you're really looking for it.
But I suppose it really depends on the colour/ finish of the club.
I remember first time out with my i15 5 wood.
Teed the ball up too high (forgot I was using a 5) and went right underneath it.
You should have seen the marks it left...I could have cried, especially as I blobbed the fecking hole.
It has to be one of the worst feelings in golf, not only have you left a ruddy great scratch on the top of your club you have also hit a terrible shot.
Going to give the sharpie a bash though. Good idea.
