Sorry to be dim, but does anyone know what package I need to buy/sign up for downloading courses in the whole of the UK?

I can manage without Scotland for now, until I visit (soon hopefully :)) but as I live on the border of England and Wales, are skycaddie going to want me to get the more expensive option?

I would phone the customer helpline, but I think I need to register/join first and it's not "open" just now.

Shame about the skycaddie website....talk about hopeless for non-USA customers.

It's frustrating me. :)

I think its the F30 package that gives you the whole of the UK. That's the one I went for.

I think the standard birdie package does the whole of the UK rather than just England. I'm able to get Royal St Davids as well as English courses

You should be able to reguister your unit and set up an account quite easily online. Their web site has changed a bit in last few months and I've just renewed my subscription with no problems :D

Persevere my good man ;)

Wow....how did you know that Harlech was on the top of my wish list?

Cheers.

OK.....here comes the magic moment.

I'll plug it all in a get going and report back in a while.

OK, all done. Birdie package £29.99 covers all of UK, so my fears weren't realised.

Only one frustration (so to speak).....filled in all the account details, kept clicking submit and it kept bouncing back.....

There are two boxes to check before you can continue and the "agree to terms and conditions" needed scrolling down to - D'oh!

5 courses sync'd, shame about the lack of one course I play monthly....I wonder why? It's on all the other GPS makes?

Definitive answer from Skycaddie :-

Birdie Membership is for the whole of UK
Eagle Membership is UK and Europe
Double Eagle Membership is Worldwide

Thanks for this (for anyone else interested). One wonders how much effort it would really require SkyGolf to put this on the FAQs or something on the website.
Considering the UK sales possibilities I wonder what's going on? It wouldn't be rocket science to put a link on the FAQ to "I live in the UK, which membership will I need?"
