Anyone fancy a knock at Skipton at some point before the end of the year? Deal on groupon today £10pp or £34 per fourball. Heard its a decent course too.

We'd have to be quick in buying the vouchers and booking a block booking depending how many are interested.

Its a nice course, played in their open the other year. One of the windiest days of the year, and there was no cover.

I'll be using my final day or two for knocks in Wales, or closer to home on 1/2 days off. Skipton is nice though.:thup:

Me and 2 mates have bought the groupon vouchers so will get a round in one afternoon before xmas.

Pete if your planning a knock one afternoon around Liverpool/Manchester/Chester let me know I might have a trip across if I'm not at college that night.

At the mo, me and Birchy are looking into a 2-club day out possibly any two courses out of Maesdu, North wales GC and Conwy which are all within 10 minutes of each other in Llandudno.

However, I may also use two half days up for afternoon games. Possibly hesketh and one other. I'll keep you informed.

How is that cookery course coming along......

Have you played North Wales GC LB, I thought it was really poor. Theres about 5 decent holes, 2 of them par 3s back to back which are in the dunes. The last time I looked theyre the photos they plaster all over the website.
The rest of the course is pretty rubbish IMO.

I haven't played any of the 3. I was thinking of Conwy deffo, then one of the others. I've heard maesdu is good, so that may be the two then. Anyway, don't want to steal the thread, so will post up mine and Bichy's thinking in the next few days.

I don't want Marshy kicking off on me, that airstewardess smile can hide a steely resolve.
