Just seen on Sky News the very sad passing of probably 1 of the funniest Authors I`ve ever read. And at the ridiculously young age of 66!!!

Agreed, very sad news. As an owner of all Discworld novels and assorted other A'tuin related paraphrenalia he was a literary genius. The scale of Discworlds social commentary and parallels to everyday life were always spot on.

Very sad day....and yet announced in the best way possible on Twitter. Only last week I made a start on The Colour of Magic again...and I plan on reading all 40 novels
