Silloth-on-Solway GC

Has anybody played Silloth-on-Solway GC in Cumbria?
Myself and a mate are looking to get away for a couple of rounds in a few weeks. I have looked at a lot of courses all over the place but saw Silloth in a couple of "Top 50" lists, and it seems a bit daft to go the length of the country to find a great track when there is one in the same county?


Any advice much appreciated.

Lots of reports (always the sign of a good course) by people who have played there, looks a nice track. Also a link to the club's website (if you haven't already found it)...
As I say, it looks (and reads) a nice course.

My mate played it a thought it was a very good track, he enjoyed it and also played Southerness on the way back home.

It must be a good track as the Mid Amateur is being held there this year.

Would imagine it can be pretty bleak there at times though.

Its a great links course, one of my favourites. The golf hotel in Silloth is well recommended as well.
