As In the title. Played in a medal and everything went wrong-hooks, slices, multiple tee shots OOB, wedges way short or way long, putts lipped out, 3 and 4 putts from close range, duffed chips....

Generally I play within 1 or 2 shots of my handicap but today was possibly the worst round I have ever played!

Cant quite put my finger on why it all went so badly but managed to have 3 pars in last 4 holes to finish on something of a high....

Well done for keeping going and not putting an NR in. It happens and just look at that guy on the Europro tour this week who couldn't break 100 so it can happen to anyone. It will be better next time out

There were actually guys with better scores who put a NR in...

Any idea how this will affect my handicap?

Hope those pants had nowt to do with it....!

Always tomorrow, forget the bad remember the good. I had a shocker 13 over after 8 managed to come in 18 over. Eagled the par 5 18th that played the hardest hole today and was rewarded with a buffer. Never give in there's always a chance my average for that hole in the past was 7 in comps.

30 over your handicap? - that's nothing compared to this!!

It gets better. The last medal I played I took 27 shots on the par 5 5th/14th hole, 15 the first time then 12 the second time round.

Needless to say my score was way over handicap but with the lowest score being DQ for rule 6-6b along with about 5 others and half a dozen NR I was far from last.

Next day I took 12 on the same two holes two sixes.
