Don't seem to be that many about by the look if, most just seem to be windproof.
After last weeks deluge at Dunstanburgh it became apparent my Puma storm half sleeve top is no good in heavy rain 😅
I already have a waterproof jacket but I prefer "arms out" whenever possible so I was going to treat myself to a GG Air top but I've found out there's no side pockets.
Can someone recommend a decent top which has pockets? Does the GG Alpha have pockets?

Nope

What you need pockets for your provisional haha
Just get a GG mate. Had my shirt sleeve one about 4 year and love it still could pass as brand new.
Pockets in your trousers/shorts

Exactly, where do you keep your stuff when its sunny? Jacket pockets are unnecessary, get the GG you know you want

I'm very much with you on this, can't stand playing in long sleeve full waterproof jackets. Feel like my swing is restricted whenever I put one on!

Also like pockets on my jacket but not a necessity ;)

I have two shirt sleve sunice tops. they are much better quality than I expected for the money I paid.

Not sure of 100% waterproof as I don't tend to golf much these days in a monsoon.

More than suitable for my needs.

I also have a short sleeve Sunice waterproof. It's been fine in a mild shower but I wouldnt wear it in a downpour mainly because its short sleeved as opposed to not waterproof enough.

I have 2 - an addidas one that i bought and a FJ one that i was given on a work golf weekend. the FJ is definitely waterproof whereas my Adidas one is showerproof at best.
Both have pockets

I bought a Sunderland jacket with removable half sleeves....I don't actually use it for golf, I use it on my daily cycle commute in London and no matter what the weather it has never let me down. Around £100 from memory.
