Short Memories Quiz

It wasn't Towie, it was Top Gear wasn't it? Well, his name is Hammond, anyway ...

Sadly not the squirrel [or whatever he was called]
Yes, our former Defense Minister now Chancellor, the man who is paying billions of devalued pounds over about 40 decades to make Scotland a nuclear target. With a product more defunct as cavalry was in WW1.

'Nuclear weapons does not make you safe..........it makes you a target'
Feb 2016

Anyone remember who said that?

My MP!

He also said that 'the government has got a grip on this' in relation to flooding in the area, but that was the usual political spin! He is, however a pretty good MP overall - and seemed to do a good job as Foreign Minister. Here's hoping he does as well as Chancellor!

Oh! and if you think UK wouldn't be a target sans-Trident, you are deluded!

Oooh I like this game. I've got one for you........

Who said "that a simple majority, however close, would be accepted by both sides in the campaign and there would be a "generational" gap before another independence referendum" before the Scottish referendum and yet won't stop banging on about a 2nd referendum?

Brilliant - you win!

Truly a great time for the UK. Brexit and Trident getting renewed. Rarely do we good such good news stories one after another.

Hope you have a site lined up at Ipswich for Mr Trident

Btw......you forgot the Type 26 frigates being canceled.
Remember the ones that Cameron said would only be built on the Clyde if we voted No.

The Type 26 hadn't been cancelled - it's being delayed due to budget and technical difficulties

And why would a site for Trident be needed at Ipswich - the submarines and warheads etc will reside at HMS Faslane
