I may well have a set of irons for sale very soon. Just wondered what would be the best/cheapest way to ship them, I've never actually sent anything that big before!

Many threads on this.

Short version:

Ask in pro shop/golf store for a box for a set or irons.

Pack using newspaper, bubble wrap or if you are lucky, little pieces of foam cut for clubheads left in box.

Weight/measure. Probably less than 5kg in weight.

Go to www.interparcel.com and choose delivery method based on value/location. UK mainland, Interparcel Standard is fine. You will need a phone number for the recipient.

Print off and attach shipping label.

Await pickup. You can track progress of the parcel online.

Parcel to go will find the cheapest cost of all couriers pick up from home or work and deliver 1 or 3 days your choice it's about £1 extra for next day and £1.50 for insurance around £10 total just as cheap as parcel force and next day insured.
