I've just taken delivery of an R7 Limited edition so off down the range tomorrow to put it through its paces. Has anyone got one and how does it go? I've been looking forward to getting it for ages and hoped it might have come in time to try it at Lydd last week. I was hoping to get to the range all week but me manic in work so an early finish tomorrow and a large bucket of balls, me and my R7

Don't wory Homer, in sixteen weeks, four days, two hours and thirty five seconds, TaylorMade will announce the arrival of their new driver. The R9 will be old hat and the new TM Whateveritis will be the next best thing to sliced bread. ;)

have fun with this one while it's still new. :D

It's a nice bit of kit Homer. I was very temted myself, but I think i'll hang on to the superquad until the price of the R9 drops.........this time next year ehh

Homer. I'm surprised you've gone for the pink girly shaft?
Enjoy :)

I thought this post was going to be about a big labrador with a lovely chiny coat.

Good luck Homer I hope the clubs works really well for you.

Played with someone who had one of these the other day. He used it on a 180 yard par 3.

I hope you've got the longer hitting version.

Back from the range. I am in love with my new driver. Probably not ideal testing conditions as I had a bad day in work and was tense and wound up and my overall swing wasn't that great. I have to say with the titanium head and matrix ozik regular shaft (more purple than pink) it is really light and easy to swing.

Like I say I wasn't hitting great but when it goes, it really goes. To be honest there were only 3 wild shots and that was more down to me trying to leather it than anything else. The problems were compounded my my dodgy eyesight and the poor lighting which made it impossible to gauge exactly how far it went. I'm off for a lesson (bunkers!!) but will hit a few afterwards and get a proper feel. I have to say the prognosis is looking good.
