after much tooing and froing over custom fit/custom made etc ...i went along to AG Stirling and got fitted for a brand new set of MP-60's, they are still boxed and lying under my bed (away from curious 4 & 7 yr old) waiting to be unleahed this weekend. I too was like a wee kid the night before christmas...i actually got butterflies driving into the AG carpark. AG were great...my dynamic impact was 2 degrees off the toe at impact but he put that down to technique rather than the club. He gave me sone pointers and off i went....he said he would evaluate me in 6-8 months...all in all pretty damn happy! I also tried TM, Ping, Nicklaus, calloway, but after hitting 6 straight 165 onto the green with the MP-60 6iron...i was sold on them.
Thanks again to all those who chipped in with words of wisdom over the last few months...

Sweet.

I can't wait to be good enough to have such a nice looking set of sticks.

Ahh between Southampton + Portsmouth, must be Fareham or Gosport? I'm from Winch by the way, not just a random post!

Almost. Just off junction 9 in Park Gate, where do you play?

Oops! Sorry everyone, not even relevent to the original post.

Nice bats though ;)

(Does that bring it back on thread :D)

to celebrate my 40th birthday, 3 years ago, I played the Old Course. This year my golfing pal turned 40 and we played Carnoustie
