Anyone able to post a link to the story about the world surfing league in South Africa.
A great white was sniffing around a three times world champs surf board. Proper bum clinch moment.
similar to when my first birdie putt nearly lipped out.

Where does it say that it was a Great White? Makes for an even better story if it was a Great White - but I haven't heard or seen that reported. Maybe it wasn't dangerous at all and was just being curious :)

From what I've read it is believed that it was a great white. Also read a shark expert saying that it didn't appear to be in "full on" attack mode but I don't think that means that it wasn't attacking. I certainly wouldn't fancy a great white getting "curious" while I was out the back.

It was maybe just having a wee sniff around...checking out whether he seemed like a good healthy lunch option.

A friend, as part of his bucket list, did a 'caged swim with sharks' off SA coast...

When seeing how bent and twisted the bars to cage already were... His quizzical [panic struck] look prompted "they can make a real good go at getting in with you but luckily haven't to managed yet!"....

I thought the guy kept his cool. I would have filled my pants and screamed like a girl. Who cares what shark it was, they still look the same from the business end
