I WILL have me a set of MP-54s when they are released. I love them, and want an MP set. I considered the 59, but will take the added forgiveness of the 54s. What's the point in making the game harder?

Yep, I had MP53s and had to go back to JPX 800 pro then 825 pro. I will work my way back to some MP 54 or 55s at some point.
I watched that video immediately afterwards and thought, OMG! Think a trip to South London will be on the cards as I know my 52's are longer and more upright so I might book a fitting and take their advice on whether to have the 52's adjusted and stick with them or go all out and have the 54's

Near the end of the video the player makes an interesting point that he feels a beginner would learn from them. I did wonder the same point when I bought some second hand Big Bertha irons, they have really muffled feedback and sometimes I hit a (really) bad shot and wonder to myself that it didn't feel different to usual, but 9/10 shots leave me in a better position than my Wilson DR2's which had far more feedback (especially chipping). My dad has some old Yonex blades in his garage, hitting them feels like caressing the ball with your finger tips but 9/10 shots are wild mis hits in my hands.
