What i dont understand is why they call it the seve experience. I've been a member at the belfry for 5 years and have never seen the video equipment on the white tee's never mind the blue tee's that seve used. Its a completely different shot that seve played and it isn't until you stand on the blue tee that you realise what a fantastic shot it was under pressure

Spoil sport that kind of talk is a marketing managers nightmare! :D

It was an amazing shot, did he go over the trees a bit more rather than round them?

Anyway, I won a free round for me and half prize for 3 mates on the PGA National - works out at £30 each, so not too bad!

They have ruined the 10th at the belfry by putting the yellow tee forward to entice customers to put their hand in their pocket to get more money out of them. Surely the bottles of coke they sell on course for £2:50 is enough

As members we play it off the white tee.

Just let me know when u want to play and i'll sign you in for 20

Oh, and seve hit a nice power fade into it.

Still a great feeling to green it no matter what tee you hit it off - well done.

Played there on Masters weekend and nailed my drive onto the bank. A lucky bounce sent it just past the hole. Sadly I lipped out the 15footer for eagle.

No video...so I'm pretty jealous

Well done again squire

Bit cheeky but my birthday next week, was looking to get a four ball on the brabazon or the PGA, still owe you a beer for when you sorted us out last time 😀

Cheers guys,
It's a call up hole so those were 2nd shots from the group in front.

What was good on Friday was that the round only took 4 hours 20 mins, (we were always keeping up with groups in front). Which although not racing around is pretty quick for resort courses in my experience. I've played Carden & Forest of Arden at over 5 hours before, and they were painful.
