I've just seen in the Daily Telegraph that the brat from Castellon has been knocking the Augusta National Golf Course. His negative comments didn't come after his 67 (R2) but after his weekend collapse. ''Mudballs on the course''. ''It's too tricky''.
Sergio did withdraw his remarks (wisely IMHO) but he has let himself down again. A knob! Hope he never wins a major.

Mudballs on the course? - he should try my local track after the winter we've had!

Sergio is doing a Woods and losing all his youthful charm, replacing it with anger and frustration at what he sees as life's injustices. Doesn't know he's born does he?

Sounds like spoiled brat comments to me , he doesnt seem to be maturing with age does he ?

He must be one frustrated dude , especially with the putter in his hands.

Sadly Sergio can really be a tit sometimes. Does anyone know if he is still seeing putting coach Stan Utley? I can't believe Stan would advise him to use the cheating stick… sorry, belly putter again.

I love the latin passion that Sergio can bring to the game, but blaming everyone but yourself is immature, and reflects very negatively on your own psycology.

Reminds me of Alonsos spat with Mclaren and Hamilton.

Perhaps he should just get himself hitched and settled a bit more. It might settle his mind.

He played the same golf course as the rest of them didn't he?
What's the matter with him?

Still not keen on him after seeing him gobbing into the hole a while back......filthy git!
Usually a good golfer though. Just needs to calm it down a bit!

I think he has realised he bottled his only chances of a major and wont win one.
I'm not so sure. If he can escape the "lure" of the crazy belly putter and learn to have some patience, he could bag one.

I think its his normal petulance coming out again. Seve had the game to back up any whining but Sergio always seems to find a way to lose when there is a chance to win.

I love to watch him play but wish he'd keep his mouth shut. It didn't stop Leftie hitting 30 for the front 9

Sergio needs to sort himself out. if he keeps screwing up like this the fans may turn against him and then he's got problems.
I think he just needs to relax and stop "thinking" too much about it.

But, Seve's the man and he was a big time major winner. Sergio could just about caddie for Seve.

Im Seve's biggest fan but thats a little harsh on Sergio.

His mouth does let him down but its born out of frustration when he is not competing at the level he feels he should be.

Everyone has an opinion on why that is but I think he is a great player and really hope he gets that elusive major. He is definitely capable of winning the big tournaments in my opinion.

His win at Sawgrass should stand him in good stead when he does get in position to win again in one of the big four.

Its very easy to sit at your computer and criticise Perry,Garcia or anybody else for that matter for slipping up at the end of a major. We all get nervous coming down the last few holes in the monthly medal with a good score never mind having thousands by the side of the fairway and millions watching on TV all waiting, hoping in some cases for you to mess it up again.Knowing that you will get vilified by everyone if you dont win only adds to the already massive pressure of that situation.

I admire them all for getting into the situation and trying to perform to there best to win one under these circumstances.

Some handle it better than others but thats just LIFE,if we were all the same life would be very boring!!!!!!!!

Leave him alone he's just a passionate spanish golfer - Seve used to argue with everyone and we still loved him
Nothing passionate about the Spanish golfers I play with. Lovely bunch but WON'T ask to play through even when the group in front have lost two holes.
Back to Sergio, nothing passionate in his moans when he loses. For me, golfing passion is Nicklaus (65 to win in '86), Lyle's bunker shot at 18, Woosie holing out to win 91. Sergio must be frustrated that lesser players are winning majors when he can't break his duck. That's HIS problem.

Sergio spat his dummy out in open court and that is probably the only difference between him and dozens of top pro's.

When things dont work out Tiger is ignorant and sometimes looks like he would like to explode but has been coached from a kid not to, but that doesnt mean he doesnt think of silly excuses for his flaws or errors.
The same could be said for a number of pro's all of whom react in different ways when they dont do well, if you look under the skin of most of them, they have had quite a comfortable life style being supported by others even to this day, to me the bulk of tour pro golfers are spoilt kids and adults.

Now I know we can all come out with hard life stories for a handful but in the real world the bulk have had a very comfortable clossetted life style and dont really know how to react like normal humans and their true feelings and behavior will probably never be witnessed by the public or even by someone close.

So if sergio is spitting his dummy out, I wont hold it against him, but I will hold it against him if he doesnt sort his game out, it would be such a loss to the sport because he has such tallent but keeps falling over himself I think.
