So the general public have voted on whether they prefer short or long courses, the results are:-

50% prefer long courses
50% prefer long courses

There is only one winner I see!

this was quite spooky - we had 816 votes cast with 408 for each
Jezz was very happy - he's been getting mullered in the debates for a while so a respectable draw was a bonus!

Well - there wasn't a lot of difference between the options, so a draw is a fair result I guess
