See that an American lad has been killed by a tribe well known for its hostility to ALL FOREIGNERS. They have killed fishermen who foundered on their shores and shot at helicopters etc. They clearly don’t want any visitors. So this eejit decides he will try and convert the tribe to Christianity and shock horror (I’m not actually shocked) he gets killed while wading ashore!

Whilst any death is regrettable this is one for the Darwin awards.

It's a throwback to missionaries in the 17th and 18th century. There is an arrogance to it.

Very sad for the man and his family but the tribe are clear about how they feel about outsiders.

What a spanner - another loon who is arrogant enough to think god will protect him as he passes on the word of Christ. Natural selection works at times .

Can only feel sorry for his family who will now have to suffer the aftermath of his stupidity

Outsiders are actually banned from going on that and its neighbouring island as the natives have had no contact with the outside world germs,, bugs and illnesses so anything transmitted to them could wipe them out.

How the hell do they cope without a mobile phone, Wi-Fi, and Sky???

How would you know? They could be loaded.
I think the British tried introducing it to them when we tried colonising them in tha lst century or one before that. After we had massacred a loa of them, they kicked us off with everything we tried to introduce including money:)
We're nice like that, don't you know;)

Maybe he took a wrong turn door knocking in Farnham??
Maybe you should stop quoting yourself and learn to appreciate (or at least appreciate) other folk's beliefs! Who knows...They might actually be right!
