Senior Shafts

Can someone explain to me the difference between regular and senior shafts and the advantages, or disadvantages there may be in using a senior shaft?

Senior shafts are a bit softer, and usually lighter, than regular shafts, and allow players with reduced clubhead speed to get the clubhead back to the ball better. As with all shafts, senior in one brand does not necessarily equate to senior in another, so get fitted or have a demo before you buy.
