Judging by the prices just offered to me by Golfbidder for my G5, Zing2 irons, and Zing2 beryllium Copper Lob Wedge, I'll perhaps be better Ebaying them....
but that can be such an @rse at times, so how would you sell them ??

I tried the irons on the For Sale page, but no takers, which I'm very surprised to be honest, they are regarded as perhaps THE most forgiving Ping irons ever produced, and that came from the Ping rep, (when I asked about changing to i10's instead).
Undoubtably, anyone looking to get their H/C down could still be very well served by them, and they are long hitters, even allowing for the 1* stronger lofts I specced.

So any ideas ? :-)

I have always used Golfbidder, as it is hassle free, and you don't get some twit argueing about a scratch on the sole you didn't describe on a 5 year old sandwedge, asking for his money back, etc.

It isn't the best return, but it is money for something I would otherwise chuck in the wardrobe, and never use again. If I had to ebay everything, I couldn't be bothered. Too much hassle.

Your near Hull arent you ?
Part ex them at the National Avenue Driving Range. The pro there,Dean usually gives good p/ex prices !

Most pros now base there trade-in prices on golfbidder. I would try ebay but even its slow just now, I'm trying to sell my G5i Craz_e and it aint budging even though I'm asking for a very fair price!!!!

Time of year and credit crunch me thinks. Things may pick up after the Masters in relation to golf sales.

Yeah e-bay sucks. Just had my first experience selling there, my one year old Hogan hybrid, cost £90, got one bid of £10 for it and becasue I didn't keep an eye on it the sale went through. Hardly worth the bother of selling, and the guy had £250 purchases so no doubt he'll be selling it on.

The 2nd hand club market it is terrible for a seller. With manufacturers like MD selling decent quality stuff at good prices with the wrapper still on it, why would you buy something that's used??

The clubs that will still shift for decent(ish) money is stuff that is out of the ordinary like TP badged clubs or things that have been made on the European tour bus etc.

Golfbidder amazes me with the prices they offer to buy at and then try to knock them out with a 200% mark up!

Yes ebay can sometimes be a pain but you will definatly be better off selling on them rather than Golfbidder.

Golfbidder will not give you best price they will want to make a profit on them to.

Mind you i have used them to buy in the past and have been happy with the price i have bought at hence your low offer

All you need have done was put a reserve on it!

Tis a long way off golf season for many people so maybe better selling later in the year?

Gotta defend ebay, has worked out great for me and saved me a fortune and made me a small fortune at the same time....I am lucky that work have a very reliable cheap courier I can use which makes selling easy and safe. Sure one or two duff deals over the years but at the prices you pay for stuff there are fabulous golf bargains to be had. I got a Hogan hybrid recently for peanuts off Ebay, not great for the seller admittedly. :o

I sold a load of clubs to golf bidder last month. I knew I wouldnt get a lot for them. It was done just to clear them out of the garage. When they sell them they will make a nice profit. But that dont bother me

I've got a set of X20's regular graphite 4-SW. Grips are about 8/10 faces about 6.5-7/10 and I'm throwing in an odyssey 2 ball blade and an XTT bag and was expecting golfbidder to offer around £100 for the lot.
