anyone sold an iphone 4 to these online companies?

it's been sitting doing nothing for 4 mths so looking to get some cash, anyone used or recommend a decent company with quick payments?

I have used mazuma mobile in the past. They were very quick with payment and it was pretty much hassle free. Yes you could probably or rather potentially get a better price on eBay, but I couldn't be bothered with setting up the auction etc and didn't care I potentially lost out on 10 or 20 quid.

My wife used another (although the name of them escapes me) and they offered a very favourable price, but when she sent it, they claimed it was badly scratched on the rear and drastically reduced their offer. The problem was, it definitely wasn't scratched, but they sent some photo's through showing generic scratches on the back of a generic iphone with no identifying features. Basically just a close up of a phone. Seems a common tactic for that particular company (really annoyed I can't remember who they were) but they only allowed her something like 2 days to appeal. Problem was their email was filtered into her JUNK folder on her email account and she didn't realise they had reduced their offer until the money was paid to her account.

So my advice. Yeah they can be nice and easy and you generally get a decent price for them. If you want more then sell privately. If you're happy with the offer then before you send it off take plenty of pictures of the various surfaces of the phone as proof it isn't (or is) damaged. I would check a couple of the offers, but don't necessarily go for the highest offer given. Research the company first

good advice thanks, this one is in great condition with only 2 small light scratches on the back (been sitting in a drawer for 4 months lol) but I suppose they could send back pics of any old iphone, I'll watch out for that
