More than likely a pro that just wants to let off steam and not annoy the wage payers. Paul Lawrie tends to do it face to face with folk who give him stick on Twitter. He just lets em have it, it's quite entertaining to see him call someone a bawbag lol

He gives some good insight onto stuff and usually responds to questions - he agreed with me that its better to hit the ball 280 in the first cut of rough then 230 on the fairway, so i like him.

First cut is still fairway really though innit!

For real though, 230 leaving you a 5 irons(or something) in off a perfect lie v 280 leaving you a wedge in off a reasonable lie with a tool with great versatility .... Its a no brainer.

Had a little look at the link provided. It looked a lot like most social media... people looking to make trouble...

I think the guy is a spoof personally, hype photos he puts up are either badly photoshopped or generic.

It definitely isn't Ogilvy, listen to Ogilvy in interviews he's a traditionalist through and through and thinks the golf ball should be reigned in, 'the secret pro' seems to hold a different opinion

I follow Lee Westwood on twitter and this account and they way they respond to folk is very similar.

i thought it was a spoof to begin with but now think that Lee Westwood has something to do with it, and also that it is more than one pro working on the account...

tweeted a lot at the open and suggested that he was a ping player with a footjoy shoe deal. played the open and is this week in switzerland.
