And what an amazing day it was, really warm today, bright sunshine, just loved it!

Last time there was two weeks ago I shot 111, today I shot 107, not as good as I wanted, I wanted to shoot under 100 but at least I improved, would have been a lot bettie if I hadn't fluffed as many shots as I did, but live and learn.

Loved it though, spring has most definitely sprung.

Well I have a golf weekend away at the end of May, my plan is for then to be shooting in the 90's.

That's my current goal, once I am constantly shooting under 100 by then I start on another goal.

Just be happy beat your previous score.

And thats what I'm going on. Its good to have something like a score to measure improvement on though.

So far I'm just practicing at the range and putting green and playing as often as I can to aid improvement.

Don't get to disappointed if you feel you play well and your score doesn't reflect it, your score will come down in chunks, just keep the confidence up.

Well done for improving on last week but sometimes you'll find as you play more often that you'll hit it better than today and not make a good score. On the other hand you'll have days where you don'f feel you've hit a decent shot all round but somehow compile a score. It's about how many and so keep working hard and getting better each time and keep having fun. I'm sure you'll break 100 soon

Thanks Homer! One of the things I need to work most on is nerves. I don't really suffer much anymore from slicing or hooking my shots, but as soon as someone is on a hole near where I am teeing to the left or right, I start getting quite nervous that my ball is going to go flying towards them and I usually end up messing up the shot something quite bad, I really need to work on not getting nervous in those situations.

But it was only my second time on a 18 hole, so I have got plenty of time to get used to those situations.
