Got a Moto G that's become really buggy so looking for a replacement.

Fancy trying an iphone but can't afford new, so looking for a good quality second-hand model.

Anyone suggest a company that deals in refurbished Iphones ?

Moto G got buggy so you aren't impressed with Android so considering iPhone only to then take away the OS and tinker with less stable custom ROMs?

Whatever floats your boat 😉

Im going to do this with the old android phone.
It's full of Vodafone bloat ware.
Plenty of stable ROMs for android.

If you buy a 5 make sure it's an S as the standard and C are fast becoming obsolete. I don't know how long they will still get the latest OS if they do.

I have a 5S and it's brilliant. No desire to move to a 6 or 7 as long as it stays up to date.

Ahhh that makes a lot more sense. I hate bloatware on phones. My old Samsung S4 and HTC One M8 were jammed with it. My huawei P9 isn't to bad and most of the preinstalled stuff can be uninstalled which is nice. The EMUI overlay is a bit marmite but I like it.

I've got an iPhone 6 I'm selling as I use the 6s now, had a brand new screen put on it this time last year and never used it since and has been sitting the draw!

Be very careful with used iPhones however, they can only ever have 3 iCloud accounts assigned to them regardless of how many times it's completely wiped. My dad got given one by a friend and he can't assign a new account to it. Google it, its the stuff of IT dept nightmares where they may have high staff turnover...

If you want to use it as a phone and not bothered about the cloud,
is this an issue ?

no. If you just want it as a phone, why do you want an iphone?! Much much better options out there! The phone part is the iphones worst feature!!! If i wanted a phone only, I would but an old nokia!!

6310, best phone ever, still got a couple 👍

yup, although may struggle with the older technology and sims these days. I bet you the couple you have tucked in a drawer still have 60% battery!!:D

My wife uses one of them with a Giff Gaff sim in with no issues.

Bloatware is a nightmare. I have mine from Tesco and doesn't have this issue. I have to say the G4 is great phone for the money and is pretty rapid. Gets excellent reviews too.
Funny enough, my current work phone is an iPhone 5 and when I change it, I'm going to get an Android phone. I find iOs too restrictive.
