After the Craw saying that the season is nearly over it was just starting for me a couple of days ago when I put in my first card of the season

A very tidy 77 net 64 (css 69) for a nice cut to from 12.7 to 11.6. Lipped out a birdie put on the last that would have got me to11 but I shall keep the extra shot for Goswick than you very much.

I finished 2nd…wait for it…EIGHT shots behind the winner who shot a 3 over par 73 playing off 17!!!!!

Bloody bandits!!!!
:D

 there is having good days and having good days!!

Can you not get another one back for Goswick? I don't seem to have a problem going that way :( great shooting all the same!

Another reason I'm not a fan of short easy courses (not saying yours is as you don't say which course) but it's possible for these type of scores, the committe should enforce their powers for a larger cut as a 56 is just ridiculous

Course is just over 6000 yds and is very tight with a good number of water hazards The SSS is 69 and has only come down a handful of times in the 4 years i have been a member. Have seen it go up a good number of times though. There were only 4 scores below SSS out of the 50 that played. I was off 9 when i joined so i certainly would not say it was easy :D

I have never seen any net score below 62 in a medal before. The 56 was already in before i started so i knew what i was up against.

The winner was cut from 17.0 to 13.1 so an extra cut has not been made

Whilst a nett 56 is rather a good score, the committee can't go on one round alone to further reduce this guys handicap.

That's good scoring Stuart. You've obviously been able to shake the Findlay monkey off your back and get back to your normal game instead of carrying a dead weight ;) ;)
