Screen jumping around too much

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but it's very annoying when you go to for example The Lounge and it loads up, then half a second later an advert at the top of the page loads and everything gets shifted down the screen a bit. Some times I am about to click on a link and then puuf, it has moved. Getting on my nerves a bit now.

Same here. I'm using an iPad and it does it twice, up down up down over about 5 seconds.

Tbh, it's crap. Prefer the old version and this jumping around is off putting.

Same here most annoying you go to click on the post and it jumps you end up clicking on someone's profile

Ps it's an iPad I'm using.

I'm struggling to replicate this (iPad mini running 8.1.1) but will ask the dev guys to take a look when they get the chance

It seems to depend on the ad. For example, the lucozade one isn't bad, just the one jump, but some others have it jumping all over the place.

Doing my head in now. 4 attempts to get in to the thread I wanted to read. Everytime I thought it has stopped, it did it again and I ended up in a totally random thread.
Is this going to be addressed or just left for us to suck it up and get on with? Can see it being a cause of people leaving/reducing activity and in turn reduce footprints for ad viewing.

I'm sorry there hasnt been a resolution to this and other issues - I have reported this and other issues but I assume the tech guys - who look after many websites across Time Inc and work on a different floor to us have a long list of other issues to attend to

It's ok on the mobile version, but viewing on my iPad is dreadful. Seriously annoying. This morning it is jumping around 5 times per page. It's a good job I don't get epilepsy.

can i suggest those who are suffering just switch to mobile view which you can do on desktop ipad and mobile then you dont see any ads


as a plus this thread will help me on the selection process for the next fitting opportunities

Hmmm, I only get it when I've entered a thread. The overall forum view, and even the "new posts" view don't appear to jump around for me.
