Just back from playing in a bounce game with a guy from work. Drizzled with rain the whole round and by the time we got to the 18th everything was soaked through.
Anyway, to the point
My driver came flying out of my hand on the 18th tee and flew about 30yds, landing on the gravel path in front and scratched the back edge.
I know this will have zero impact on the performance of the club, but it will affect it's resale value and I'm pissed of that it's there. Does anyone know if this is repairable, and if so, is there anywhere I can send it to get it professionally* touched up?

I have heard of irons being buffed polished and refurbed, but not drivers!

Hopefully they can be, good luck with that. Hope you find a cure!

I hade a load of sky marks on my old driver - I touched them in mysely and it was not a bad job. I did ask the pro and they told me it would probably cost £30-40 for the respray.

You could try a bit of T Cut. Oh, how far did the ball go.

The scratches Too deep for T-cut I fear. I'll have a word with my local pro and see what he says. I'd definitely pay up to £40 to get it fixed as new again.
No idea where the ball went. About 150yd into the jungle down the right hand side maybe?

I went to a model shop and bought the closest paint match I could find then lightly rubbed the scratch down and painted with the airfix paint.

Second time I just lashed the paint on - but always regretted not taking my time as it was certainly not as good a job as the first time.

To get it done properly is about £90. I have looked into this before with a guy who does club repairs. (He learnt on persimmon heads, and does a superb job - I have seen him playing with refurbished old clubs and they were like new). Trouble is to get the right paint it needs to be baked on, so the shaft has to come out, bits need masking off, etc.
