Scotty restoration

Hi all,

I'm looking to restore a Scotty TeI3 soon (when I find one!) and have managed to work out what I need in terms of paint and reblueing etc but wanted to ask someone in the know what I should use as the elastomer for behind the insert?

pointers to a shop/eBay would be ace!

I can't help on the technical aspect but good luck with it, it would be interesting if you posted progress pics, I have seen some fantastic scotty refurbs hope yours goes well

Seen elsewhere that Dow Corning is the stuff to use so will give that a go!
