Does anyone use ethier of these putters, if so what are your comments on them.
They have been reduced to £129 at American Golf, and I was considering switching to a mallet style from a blade.

Thanks

I tried one out in AG the other day, I was in there with the intention of changing from a mallet to a blade type, but the Red-X felt so good it almost convinced me to take it home and stick to the mallet. A great putter if it feels as good in your hands as it did in mine.

Had a Red X original for a while. Center shafted. A great putter and £129 is a bargain.

I've used the TM spider (original and itsy versions) and an odyssey 2 ball. They are all good putters and the only reason I changed back to a more traditional shape was that I had a putting lesson and got shown a few fundamentals regarding grip and my alignment and wanted to learn with a conventional putter.

I think the only rules with putters is If it gets it in the hole for you that's the one for you, and always always try before you buy, regardless of whether it's a bargain or not. ;)

Being a Scotty man myself, that sounds like a bargain. I quite fancy one. Two of my mates have these, and putt very well with them. (one is off 5, the other off 10). They give a nice roll, and look the biz.

Good price for a Scotty, but mine's behaving itself at the moment and, like Homer, HID will go bananas if I buy (and she finds out ;)) another putter.

I have a Scotty X, it is miles better for me then my previous putters (Answer, CrazE etc). I'm still a crap putter (mainly in my head), although my technique is quite good.

They feel nice (weight, strike etc), look nice & give more confidence than others I've tried and are quite easy to line up.
