What the hell is going on with prices for these? I have recently got a Scotty and would love to get a cool headcover for it, I found this one and it couldn't be anymore perfect for an English Liverpool supporter living in America.

The cheapest I can find it for is $150 on Ebay . So I wouldn't even know if it is authentic or not. I know that they are the Rolls Royce of putters and then to customize them is a bit of a status symbol thing, but these prices are ridiculous.

Has anyone else gone to town with customizing their Scotty?

Mine has a spurs head cover, doesnt say scotty on it though.

Are they really any better than a $20 headcovers..?
I doubt it.
You could put the Scotty logo on a dead rat and someone would pay money for it....

They aren't any better than a cheaper one, they just have Scotty Cameron wrote on them. This one would look so good in my bag, but at that price I might not bother.

I could probably get it cheaper from the U.K., but after paying import tax it could make it expensive.

Could you not get a nice head cover and then get it embroidered with scotty Cameron ?

a question ive always wondered is why do head covers cost so much? say I wanted a replacement M2 cover your looking at £22 ish.. so If say somebody buys me a novelty one that I decide to use can I have £20 off my club purchase please lol

I have to say, I recon I could talk myself into it if I new it was from the Scotty shop and was a Scotty user, but it would have to be for some super exotic putter.

Collected them for a while but sold them as they just sat in a cupboard unused. Usually buy a second hand ijp one and use it for a few years as they also have a magnetic closure as well.

Combination of both to be honest. I never have the standard headcover on any of my club, got different pom poms on all of my woods. So I was just browsing around for a cool putter headcover. SO when I see one that had the Liverpool badge, a union flag and it's a Scotty too.....well that's just a slamdunk to me.

It's like the advert for the Ford Focus " Ask yourself do you deserve it " if so just buy it or you will always regret it.
This is subject to available funds of course .
you may not get another chance as all scouse golfers will want one I am getting one now I have seen it.

Well it looks like Santa has come early. My headcover arrived this morning, my fantastic wife has got me one for Christmas, but she says she is going to wrap it up so I will have to wait until Christmas:angry:

less than a month and lets be honest its winter less golf being played!

Ive got summer shoes coming for my bday in march she goes "you know you cant have these until your bday" thats fine babe I wont be wearing them till may lol

I have the new x7 and while the design of the cover is good, the quality of the Velcro is absolutely shocking.

For a great putter I have to say the lack of attention to detail in this area was a little disapointing. Why Scotty do not use magnets is past me.

If anyone knows of a good aftermarket one that doesn't look like it's come from Lidl that will fit an x7/oddly #7 please step forward
