Is there any difference between the scotty fast back and the squareback models apart from the shape??

Iv been looking for a new putter and quite fancy the squareback but I'm finding it difficult to find a stockist so I can try one, seems to be plenty places stocking the fastback though.

Where the best place to buy one from online??

Quite different beasts! The Fastback is a 'standard' mallet with quite a large amount of toe-hang. The Squareback 1 was (perhaps only almost) face-balanced. The Squareback shape would have to grow on me, which it might, while the Fastback is 'naturally' elegant! I've had a few putts with a (Circle-T) Centre-shafted Squareback that actually felt nice!

I tried both when I was testing for a new putter a few years back. They both putted well for me but I got on with the Squareback better. As Foxholer says,it is face balanced, stays nicely level during the putting stroke.

I tried the fastback at the weekend and I actually thought it was quite close to face balanced, well abot as close as Scotty's came without going into the odd shaped ones.
I am after a face balanced one as this type suits my stroke, I'm having real difficulty finding anywhere stocking them though.
