Had a good day at Scottish Open on Friday (before the biblical rains)
Great course to view play from, can get very close to players.
Took a few pics and 3 short films ~(cameras not allowed so had to be discreet!) ;)
Players mixed with the public really well, quite strange when people so familiar to you walk past, felt like saying hello!
All seemed to be enjoying things when I was there at least! Personally I think this is a perfect place for the Scottish Open. It is target golf but that is fun to watch. Links need wind to make them hard, Castle Stuart didn't get any wind.
If you get a chance to see Luke Donald swing an iron, take it!

Dont know who the Titleist pro with the purple outfit is but I took it to give evidence of crimes against fashion!

I got an autograph from Justin Rose, he was very personable and professional.
Was struck by how diminutive a lot of the pros are, 11 stone 5'8" size.
Exceptions to that are Thomas Bjorn, Darren Clarke, Angel Cabrera - they are all big lads!
If you listen to the sound of drivers there were no loud titanium type clangs, they all sounded quite dead clacks - what are they all hitting.
Watched Mickelson hit the par 4 3rd with a hybrid from behind the tee - ball went like a guided missile. Impressive.

The sweet spot?
