So who's going?

I think I saw another mag, or maybe a radio advert stating a few well known brands will be there but I'm not sure if thats clever marketing speak and its stands with brand gear or actual manufacturers.

With all of the industry leaders in golf club technology confirmed to attend – such as Callaway, Srixon, Taylor Made, Titleist, Yonex, Ping, Cobra, Cleveland Golf, John Letters Mizuno, Lynx and Benross – you can see why , the Scottish Golf Show is the only place to be from March 27-29.

Pretty well, not as unforgiving as i was expecting.

Never felt that comfortable hitting bump and runs with the short clubs and the 4 iron of the JPX didn't suite my eye behind the ball.

Shafts are a bit dead but results are good
 
Been to the last two, giving it a miss this year... been largely rubbish both times, the free rounds justified the cost of the ticket, provided you used them. I have two unused from last year!

Far too busy, can't get near any of the new gear, and no real offers to be had. At the last Edinburgh show, I was through the gates 5 minutes after opening and made a beeline right to the professionals' area to get a free lesson... told to come back at half-4! No way anyone could spend 6 hours there, and pass-outs aren't allowed so left it. Was round it all and seen/tried everything I wanted to see in less than an hour.
 
I actually quite enjoyed it because I wasn't expecting much! I liked the charity challenges dotted around the arena (Never won a thing though) and had a few swings with some different clubs. Never really found anything that I fancied but I think there were deals to done if you were in the market for something.

1st time i've been, would maybe go back.
 
went myself yesterday and quite enjoyed it. loads bigger than Manchester and with quite a bit of fun challenges to do. It was very busy but still managed to get a free lesson and try out the ping G30 too.

Our kid got custom fitted for some irons (good price on pings too), his mate got a bargain john letters driver for £30 and I managed to get around 2 dozen golf balls for free (mix of ad333 tour and Pro v1s) :)

The only grip was that did not get time to have a go on the longest drive or the bunker challenge and the Trick sot guy was a bit dull!

I have managed to win two free tickets to the Manchester show next month and hoping that will be as good ( especially after all the feedback we have given on here)

will go back next year but this time get my name down earlier to try the new gear!

Explain ya jammy B**ger... I play the tours missed a trick
 
the titilests were given out to everyone to try i went up twice to different guys and never had an issue, srixon was similar fill in a card with dodgy details and get a goodie bag go back an hour later and repeat :)
