Scottish golf on the up

After a few years of Scottish golf being in decline( apart from Monty and Warren winning the World Cup ),its heart warming to see Martin Laird surging thru the World Ranking to No.49 which now gives him a place in the Masters,normally the only Scot to play in it apart from Sandy Lyle was Monty on sponsors invites ,and also good to see Richie Ramsay in the top 3 or 4 of the HSBC.

As a side note to this one of the Juniors at my club is currently on a golf schoolarship at New Mexico College he won an invitational tournament earlier in the week,a great show from a good kid.

nice that martin`s in top 50 - also good that a young lad from this area is showing promise .

Jordan McColl is the kids name Euan he's doing really well now he can play and practise all year round.
