Apologies if I am posting this in the wrong place, but I could not see an events thread!

Dear all.

We are seeking more 2/4 ball teams to join our annual Scottish Golf Day on 22nd May 2012. Cost per person is £100 a head to include a full 18 holes on the fourth oldest course in the world plus brunch and a 3 course dinner with guest speaker and charity auction.

All players will get a shot to win a £15,000 car thanks to West End Motors Broxburn who have kindly sponsored a hole in one competition.

All funds raised will go towards the work of Hospices of Hope, the UK based charity delivering vital free hospice care to some of the poorest communities of Eastern Europe. More information on their fantastic work can be found at www.hohh.co.uk.

Sincere apologies if I have gone against the etiquette for the Forum. I am personally not trying to sell anything. I am simply trying to support a charity and believed this may be a welcome place to do it.

Thanks Valentino. In my rush to post, I overlooked possibly the most important details! The event takes place at Brunsfield Links, Edinburgh, in conjunction with the Brunsfield Links Golfing Society. The course is located in 150 acres of mature parkland with great views over the Firth of Forth.
