After some help please, I've got a couple of American friends coming on a golfing holiday at the end of May, the golf courses they are playing at are all booked and confirmed. I am hoping to travel up and meet them for a game or 2 while they are there.
The courses they are playing are:
Craigelaw, Dunbar, Gullane #1 and North Berwick, my question to anyone who are members of those courses, will they be left as 2 Balls, therefore giving me a chance to join them or, do the courses automatically make up 4 Balls?
Any help appreciatted

Pretty sure Craigielaw will leave them as a 2. I certainly know that as a member I could book for 1-4 players and never have anyone added by the club.

Likewise at North Berwick they won't force two balls into four balls. If you know you want to join them, just have them call/email the booking office and make it a three ball.
