Not wasting time searching through the adverts.
As you did not mention it, did they not also say that the foot stomp on Kysi should have been a penalty to Hearts
Which, if correctly given by the referee, in all probability would have won Hearts the league.
Glasgow refs trying to be neutral eh 😍
They did say you should have had a penalty for the stamp. Maybe if the Hearts player hadn’t made such a meal of it, the ref would have given it.
They also said Celtic should have had one for the two handed push on Nygren at Easter Rd.

However if you are looking for reasons why you didn’t win the league, I suggest you look at your away form, 5 points from your last 7 aways, including two defeats to bottom 6 clubs and a draw with the team who finished rock bottom. The only team you could beat had 9 men!

You also had 30 minutes after the non penalty to find a winner and couldn’t. That’s what champions do.

Still no apology for the assaults nonsense?

Saying that the head of the referees determining that his referees gave the right decision to award the penalty proves nothing.
It would have been very unusual for him to say otherwise.
The pitch invasion (as all of them are) was a disgrace and it must have been frightening for the players.
More needs to be done about this in future. Points deductions (not fines) is the only was to go.

But, no changing it now though for last season.

That’s not the case. Collum does one of those videos every month and quite often says that a decision to either give or deny a penalty or a red card was incorrect.

Or maybe he said it was a penalty because the guys hand was above shoulder height when he handled it in the box? Just throwing it out there that handball is a penalty offence.
Oh were it only that simple

Anyway - looking forward to taking my lad to Parkhead and Ibrox next season. Well...I'm not looking forward to it but he's demanding that we try and get tickets. And why do I not fancy it? Well...for the same reason that many season ticket holders, never mind more casual fans, of STJ do not go to home games against the OF...and not for fear of getting a football hammering - it just not worth the hassle and abuse you get; plus many parents won't take their kids given the vile chanting and songs 🤷‍♂️ Sad but true.

I am looking forward to Celtic visiting Tynecastle next year mainly to see the pro rata Celtic support of about 180 fans stuffed into some pokey wee corner of the ground
[Only about 750 Hearts fans allowed in for the final day game in Glasgow]

I take it that Scottish football doesn't have any sort of guaranteed minimum number of tickets for away fans? Poor if that is the case.
Scottish Football is entirely set up for the benefit of two Glasgow clubs.
Plus a two club veto on a 12 club league stops any changes that would benefit the smaller clubs.

The past practice at StJ has been to move season ticket holders from their seat in the East Stand to the Main stand opposite in order to accommodate the maximum number of OF fans...at times they get three sides...a pragmatism based upon taking their money - but it doesn't half cheese off StJ fans both season ticket holders and those others who frequent the East Stand. Similar proposals for the coming season are being hotly debated, with much upset with the club. Many StJ fans would say to 'heck' with the money - give them one of the end stands (about 1000 cap)

This is nonsense!

The 2 club veto helps the smaller clubs stay in the higher league. Something that should not be a concern to Celtic, Rangers and Hearts.

There does seem to be change afoot. Hearts/Hibs/Aberdeen now seeing full houses houses and big increases in Season Ticket Sales [Hearts have a 4 to 5 year waiting list]
We had a competitive League for the first time in ages and don't forget that it was not just one team challenging the Glasgow duopoly.
Attendances in Scotland are the highest pro rata in Europe well ahead of countries like Italy and Germany.
We clearly need to lose this hidden bias from officials where at home games at Ibrox or Celtic Park we will see fans bear pit yelling at every whistle and giving them dogs abuse if it is not awarded to them.

Not really when you consider most teams outside the Glasgow 2 will have no more than a couple of thousand travelling fans, if that. Sure, a final at Hampden and some can muster up 20K but a dark, cold December game in Glasgow?

Would Hearts even be able to sell out Tynecastle on their own?

Funny because that used to be my opinion of Tynecastle whenever I went there (haven't been since the 90's mind you). You would get more venom thrown at you at Tynecastle that you would at Ibrox.

Celtic have a down year and suddenly "we have a competitive league". Look, I really hope that is true and Bloom can shake the league up a bit but if Celtic don't actively sabotage themselves during the summer there is a pretty good chance they will win the league at a canter next year.

BTW I see Engels has jumped ship.....very over rated IMO.
We were a completely different team down the stretch when he came back but that's probably because everyone else in midfield had been dross. He's a decent player but I'd bite the hand off anyone that is going to give us a profit on him.

Quick way for teams to go bankrupt.

As much as they hate "the 2 Glasgow teams" without those 3 or 4 home games against them most teams would struggle financially as they are the only games that sell out.
StJ owners have set out the minimum number of season tickets that need to be sold in order to compensate for any loss of income from OF fans if their access is restricted. Unfortunately the club also implemented a tiering system for STs in the East Stand where there has not previously been one. They also want to restrict family STs in the East Stand - providing a cheaper Family ST option but in one of the end stands. It's a bit of a mess TBH.

If there is one thing that StJ fans hate is any sort of 'dependency' StJ have on two clubs they despise.

Haven't Hearts not done this every game this season...whatever the opposition.

Besides DfT notes the ST waiting list - unlike a golf club waiting list who might disappear off elsewhere, I can't imagine a Hearts supporter on the waiting list giving up and heading off to Hibs, Livi, Spartans or Linlithgow Rose.

Blame Aberdeen for that. After Rangers went out of business in 2012 and Sevco Scotland joined the 4th tier Aberdeen voted with Celtic to keep the status quo.
