I know it won't register too highly with most, but for the supporters of Hibs and Hearts, I reckon this game could be classed as the biggest in our collective history.

Hearts are the dominant force in Edinburgh Derbies, they have a mindset before each one of victory, they've won the SC a couple of times in recent times.

Hibs have not won the cup in 110 years, we lost the last SC derby in 1896 :o .We're generally rather pish in derbies.

Why then, so I think we'll win and win comfortably?I watched the game yesterday and thought Hearts were pretty good in the second half.

A defining moment in Edinburgh football history on the 19th of May.Bring it on.

Should be a fantastic day but for one set it will be a bloody nightmare!!

Really hope Hibs can put the 110 year thing to rest.Hoping to go but if I can get a ticket I will need to sit with my Dad who is a season ticket holder at Swinecastle....that should be fun!!

Great result yesterday and hopefully a brilliant final. Looks like I'll have to watch it on telly as the missus' godmother is getting married on may 19th. Clutching at straws I know, but as it's a lesbian affair, should I ask my wife to take her best mate instead?

I'm looking forward to this final more than any not involving my own team that I can remember. My OH is a hibbee and dreading it but I think it should be a great and fairly unique match. Hearts favourites for sure but Hibs could finally get the Scottish Cup monkey off their backs.

I shall be in the Western Isles on Hols, desperately seeking a pub with telly!
What do you guys think about the idea of putting the game on at Murrayfield, extra 15,000 seats?

Re Our win in the semi. I'm a fair minded Jambo and I really find Lennons attitude stinks. Of the disputed decisions I thought that the Celtic goal was offside the Hearts penalty was correct and the Celtic claim for a late penalty had no merit at all. It clearly hit Websters stomach.
Talk about bad attitude and poor losers. Because that's what they were, losers twice.

BTW Sergio is beginning to build a decent team.

Re:Sergio, he is indeed. The spine of the team is pretty good...Webster/Black/Skacel/Beattie...not bad at all. We're pretty similar though, McPake/Osbourne/Griffiths/O'Connor.I think this game has the makings of a terrific day out.

I'm 100% against Murrayfield.Hampden is the home of Scottish football, I've never dreamt about a Hibs captain lifting a trophy there, plus is too close to Tynie ;). Anyone who's been going to watch either team this season will get a ticket, plus the standard number of glory-hunters...I reckon about 23,000 each team.
