Scottish Amateur championships at Royal Aberdeen this week

Anyone going to this?

Might pop over and support young Sandy Scott from my club, who's ranked 2nd on the on the Scottish Mens OOM.

and is in with a real chance of winning after shooting the course record at Tain last week and is now down to +5

Monday rounds only completed today, but have been some sort of delay.

Delayed ?

Round one was delayed for half an hour due to rain and the course flooding but apart from that its going to plan

Only one left from our track, Calum Hill, the lad that qualified last year to play in the Scottish Open at Gullane. He's currently 4 up, so fingers crossed.

Bit of a shame for the Forres boys to end up playing your mate you play a lot of golf with.

i think i saw on day one there was flooding on the course and was delayed, the way its reported, looks day 3 hasn't started yet and there are still games from Tuesday to play??

Due to the size of the field half the players play their first round on Monday then if they qualify 2nd round Tuesday then the other half play first round Tuesday 2nd round Wednesday, there have been no delays apart from half an hour on day one
