Hello everyone. I've recently updated my PC to Windows 7 but Scoresaver wouldn't accept my registration key so I contacted the team. Andy informed me that the software is now available FOR FREE so to redownload it.

I know this won't appeal to many but for those of you that are seeking to keep and monitor statistics on their golf this software is brilliant. As an example I've been working hard on my short game and have just noted that my GIR, scrambling and PPR stats have all notably improved in the last six months :)

So if you want some free software to monitor your golfing progress go to http://www.scoresaver.co.uk/

Thanks for that Tiger will go get it now.Although I 'm not sure I want to see the results!

I know what you mean but it's so rewarding when you've been working really hard on one part of your game and the stats show you are making an improvement. This season is all about FIR, PPR and scrambling for me :)

Happy downloading!

I nearly bought it last year so mega chuffed it is free but a bit gutted they can no longer make it viable as a product for sale :(

Over the last 10 years, we sold Scoresaver and SS2 to customers in 37 different countries including 2 sales in Vanuatu, a small Pacific island containing (a) A golf course and (b) a huge active volcano. Belgium was also a hotbed of purchase activity, can anyone explain why ?

We had a lot of fun, adverts/articles in magazines and papers and a lot of great feedback. I even shared a pint with the esteemed GM Editor Mike at Craigielaw GC (before having to leave the course after 6 holes due to extreme hailstones, but that's another story....)

Thanks to all of you who supported the project by buying the software over the last 10 years.

Cheers

its a shame it couldnt be done more glitzy and multi platform. I know others like golfshot etc let you do similar but you can;t use a mobile on the course or print from a mobile (actually you probably can but I am not that advanced) and theres nothing better than a hard copy of something to peruse and mull over

Anyone know of similar software for a Mac ?

From their FAQ, not sure if u have any of these... but anyhoo, :

Scoresaver 2 is designed for Windows only.

You can run it on a Mac using a Windows emulator such as Parallels, VMWare Fusion or CrossOver. These all cost money.
