Saw me first eagle today.

Well technically I didn't. None of us did. On our first hole a par four, a PP smashed his drive 250 down the middle, played his second and walked round the back of the green coz he thought he had hit it long. Spent a minute moaning he could not find it. Walked to the flag and says almost apologetically " oh, it's er in the hole". I looked at him and said " that's the general idea".
There was a pitch mark 6" behind the hole and it had spun back in. 2 for 5 points on the first hole.
His celebration of said feat was pathetic. Just wish I had seen it drop.

Was lucky enough to have 2 within 5 holes earlier this year , strangest round ever , eagles birdies ,bogeys , doubles & a treble thrown in .. crazy day

Funny thing is he said at our sixth, "look at that kite" ( red kite ) it was about 50 ft above our heads and massive. I said "it's a buzzard you plank".

I remember eagles...just. Can't remember the last time I had one mind. That's some to start to a round. I assume in normal golfing fashion it was downhill from there

Played in a AM AM a couple of weeks ago, one of my PP's hit his 2nd on a par 5 to 6 inches, I hit my 3 wood through the green on my 2nd, I then chipped in for eagle and he tapped his put in.
2 eagles and 9 points on one hole
